We design concepts that become systems:
From the screen to the poster, from the curtain to the press kit, taking care of every detail that brings the story closer to its audience.

How It All Started

This is a space to share more about the business: who's behind it, what it does and what this site has to offer. It's an opportunity to tell the story behind the business or describe a special service or product it offers. You can use this section to share the company history or highlight a particular feature that sets it apart from competitors.

Let the writing speak for itself. Maintain a consistent tone and voice throughout the website to stay true to the brand image and give visitors a taste of the company's values and personality.

Sensory palette:

b/w + gold (sacred), film grain (memory), and paper/lithography textures.

Golden Age

of Mexican cinema as its axis: high contrasts, theatrical composition, typographic relief and classic poster resources.

Lexical field:

“the sacred / the everyday”, “cultural ghosts”, “grief/transcendence”, which the film addresses.

Drama/Magic Realism Feature Film

(dir. Gladys G. Lizárraga).

The challenge: aligning identity, visual narrative, and launch pieces for an arthouse film, ensuring aesthetic coherence (golden age) and clarity of communication (teasers, poster, EPK, titles, credits) to the press, festivals, and audiences.

Duality:
the modern and the ancient

a system that rescues elements of classic Mexican graphics and updates them for a contemporary story.

Brand axis: ritual austerity + human sensitivity.

Typography

high contrast serif + sober sans for hierarchy and legibility in editorial/press pieces.

Artboard 1 copy 10.png

Composition

classic poster grids, generous margins, plates and labels with nods to old credits.

Graphic Resources

vignetting, subtle halo/iris, hatching and controlled wear (never gratuitously “vintage”).

Color

Predominant b/w with gold accents on titles, emblems and details of “the sacred”.

A coherent and distinct identity that supports the film's narrative, facilitates press materials, and unifies the experience across screen, posters, and digital communications.

1

Grammar in motion

inspired by classic montage (fade, iris, clean wipe), with contemporary tempo.

2

Typographic choreography

appearance by plates, rhythm linked to breaths of the soundtrack, emphasis on key names.

3

Closing credits

priority readability, high contrast and closures with brand seal (final lockup).
