Alumbre began with in-person natural dyeing workshops and required clear and attractive accompanying material.

The challenge: to design a practical and aesthetic editorial document, capable of instructing and at the same time conveying the artisanal philosophy of the project.

A manual as an experience.

The document had to be more than just instructions: a tool that made the user feel supported throughout the process, both in an in-person workshop and during independent practice with the kit.

Layout

Modular structure with clear sections: inputs, preparation, steps by fiber, aftercare.

The manual became a central part of Alumbre's business model: first, it accompanied workshops, and then it added value to the supply kit.

Workflow

  • Discover: compilation of workshop content and definition of key fibers and processes.

  • Define: narrative structuring (introduction, materials, steps, recommendations).

  • Design: layout, development of illustrations and visual style consistent with the project.

  • Deploy: final manual ready for printing and integration into sales kits.

In editorial projects, design transforms technique into experience, guiding the user with clarity and warmth.
